Ingress Protection
IP Ratings are an international numeric classification to indicate the degrees of protection provided by enclosures for electrical equipment against environmental conditions. It provides a means of specifying the capacity of an enclosue to protect its contents from external solids and liquids in accordance with IEC 60598-1:2003.
